Chapter 32: If a person is killed in the cause of Allah, all his sins will be expiated except debt
باب مَنْ قُتِلَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كُفِّرَتْ خَطَايَاهُ إِلاَّ الدَّيْنَ
Sahih Muslim 1886 b
It has been reported on the authority of Amr b. al-'As through a different chain of transmitters that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
Death in the way of Allah blots out everything except debt.وَحَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي، أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي عَيَّاشُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ الْقِتْبَانِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ، عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الْقَتْلُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يُكَفِّرُ كُلَّ شَىْءٍ إِلاَّ الدَّيْنَ " .
